Shindo Brewing Company delivers another sake worth trying. They’ve been defining a whole new convention-defying sake, and taking their local region by storm. Gasanryu Kisaragi is a perfect example of why. Precisely balanced with luscious pear and cantaloupe flavor, the freshness fades pleasantly into a soft finish, like a mountain stream into a crystal clear lake. Yeah, it’s that good. A nice brew to sip while enjoying seafood.

Shindo has been brewing a local but famous brand “Fukutsuru” for the last 10 generations. This new brand “Gasanryu” was invented from an idea of going back to the original. They rebuilt the entire process to make truly authentic sake for sake lovers by taking harvest of rice to brewing all in-house. “Gasanryu” is limited in availability, most of them are only consumed locally.
