Sturdy and stylish

“Maekake,” coming from the words “mae” (front) and “kakeru” (to hang), is a traditional apron used for centuries in Japan. They came to be used by brewery workers during the Edo period (1603-1868), and were developed to support the workers’ hips and posture. Made of durable, stain-resistant cotton, this blue apron from Kato Kahachiro Brewing Company also features a convenient pocket. It’s a stylish and functional kitchen companion!
